This story seems pretty believable because actors and actresses are known to be both competitive and petty, so it naturally follows that a pair of rather untalented actresses (in this case, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Zoe Kravitz) would zero in a competitor (in this case, Riley Keough, daughter of Lisa Marie Presley) who’s been racking up steady work since she arrived on the film scene a few years ago.
I’ve watched Riley in both The Runaways and Magic Mike, and she performed well in her limited roles. As for Rosie, she’s merely the lips of the latest Transformers movie even though she’d have us believe that she’s the next Angelina Jolie. Of course, Rosie also wanted everyone to know that, post Michael Bay Ferrari washing, she had tons of “offers on the table” but was waiting “for the right script,” which turned out to be this ill-fated new Mad Max movie where she and Zoe Kravitz are allegedly mean girling Riley. Now, I’ve only seen Zoe in X-Men: First Class and “Californication,” and she was dreadful in both capacities. I guess I’m feeling sympathetic towards Riley and am inclined to believe that, given the lack of talent on both Rosie and Zoe’s part, they might indeed forge together to make Riley feel like crap. Here’s the story from the Enquirer:
Elvis Presley’s granddaughter Riley Keough has been reduced to tears on the set of the new Mad Max movie — because her co-stars are treating her like an outcast, say sources.
She’s heartsick over being “frozen out” by actresses Zoe Kravitz and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley while filming Mad Max: Fury Road in Namibia, Africa, charges a pal.
The situation has gotten so nasty that Lisa Marie Presley’s distraught 23-year-old daughter “would walk out” if she wasn’t such a dedicated pro, according to her friend.
“Riely’s havng a rotten time. She’s not fittig in and is incredily lonely and homesick. Zoe and Rosie have only made things worse. Riley took a two-week break from the set, but she was absolutely dreading the thought of going back to Africa to resume filming.”
An insider on the set of the $100 million movie says tension is at a fever-pitch because Zoe, Rosie and Riley are in virtually every scene together.
“They all started out as friends when the movie got underway, but now Zoe and Rosie have become close to the exclusion of Riley,” explained the insider. “She’s got another two months to go, and no one knows how she’s going to make it. She talks about going home every day.”
“It’s sad because Riley’s really such a sweet person,” said her pal. “She’s crying herself to sleep most nights. It’s really a shame.”

I tend to believe this story. Zoe is quickly developing a habit of collecting a new BFF on each film set (it was Jennifer Lawrence while filming First Class), and she sort of seems like the type to engage in high school-esque dramatics where exclusivity of friendship is concerned. As for Rosie, her place in films is pretty limited to “the hot chick,” so she probably feels insecure enough to go along with mean girl behavior too.
Whatever the case, I really hope that Zoe hasn’t made any remarks regarding Riley’s presence in Hollywood being possibly due to nepotism because, you know, Hahaha.
