The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that there’s been a lot of talk lately about RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) being “the anointed one” since he’s the only son of Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).
Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) recently ranted about Ridge’s kids getting preferential treatment, particularly RJ since he’s a “Bridge” baby and the new golden boy.
On social media, some B&B fans have even thrown around the nickname “Destiny’s Child” as a way to mock the pedestal that RJ is put on!
However, there could be a reason why there’s so much focus on RJ being Brooke’s son with Ridge.
What if RJ’s biological father is actually someone else – namely Ridge’s half-brother, Nick Marone (Jack Wagner)?
Back when Brooke was pregnant with RJ, she was uncertain of whether the bio dad was Ridge or Nick.
That led to some DNA tampering chaos since several characters had motives to mess with the results.
There was eventually a new paternity test that definitively revealed Ridge as RJ’s father – or so it seemed at the time.
Now that we’re here all these years later, the show could obviously go for a rewrite and make a different choice.
It could be a case of another round of last-minute paternity tampering or a simple lab mistake.
Either way, RJ could possibly find out that he’s not Ridge’s biological son after all.
That would turn RJ’s world upside down and potentially give him a storyline that’d work well with Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) hot plot.
It looks like Luna may be Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) long-lost daughter, so she could be gearing up for a revelation that’ll change everything for her.
It might be interesting if Luna and RJ have to go through life-changing big reveals together!
